These washing bags definitely protect clothing during the washing process but they do wear out after about 20 uses or so. They do make washing delicates and soft items easierTwo sizes were useful and the fabric is soft. I love it.I was happy to find these bags for my silks and other delicates. The fabric is soft with a very tiny weave. I don’t trust the rough feeling kind with open holes. I’ll update later if I have any durability issues.Great size bags for delicates & larger size bras.I’ve used these about 5 times and unfortunately they now have multiple holes and are essentially disintegrating. I really loved them the first couples uses before this issue. If you're like me, you've been sifting through the washing bag reviews for a while, trying to find one that doesn't: (A) fall apart or (B) damage stuff. I used to think a cheap bag was fine, but why save $10 just to end up ruining a much more expensive item in the long run?I am SO happy with these bags and can't believe I dragged my feet on investing in a decent set for so long. They are sturdy and reliable and I feel much less stress when doing laundry. Here are the benefits:1. Very fine mesh, so nothing can poke out and cause problems (e.g. bra clasps). My clothes emerge fresh and clean, but I wouldn't recommend pouring detergent right on top of the bags.)2. The fabric is silky smooth, so the bundle can slide and slip around the tumbling clothes like a little seal.3. Quality zipper, with no sharp edges to catch on things. For additional streamlined protection, there is a flap of cloth that folds over it. This does make the bag fussier to open and close, but it is worth it, imo.4. Practical dimensions. The small size is big enough for a few bras or Ts or even a sweater, and the large size is big enough for a bulky sweater coat.Got these to use for washing fine woolens, and for occasional use with a Panda mini-washer which tangles everything with sleeves. At first I was a little put off by the fact that the mesh was so fine (ie, tiny holes), clothes would be more protected, but would they get as clean? When I thought about the mechanics of cleaning fabric, squishing water and detergent through it, I realized that the bags would be fine. I like them, and it's nice to have two sizes, however on one occasion, the zipper on one opened, in spite of it being covered by design. Maybe it was a fluke, and I'll continue to use these, but as I need a few more, I may check out the ones made by Real Simple, which have a little plastic snap at the zipper closure. These are good quality, but the jury's still out, although I can highly recommend The Laundress' Wool and Cashmere Shampoo, and the delicate wash.NONSENSE...I ran it through one gentle cycle in a HIGH END MACHINE with one pair of pajamas that took up less than HALF the space & IT CAME APART AT THE SEAM.AND TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE SINCE I DID NOT HAVE ALL THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING.....CAN'T BE RETURNED.This is advertised as Made in USA, but when I received it it said clearly on the back of the package "Made in China" so I returned it.Used several times a week to wash delicate clothing - good investment.Bolsas de buena calidad, pero me parecieron excesivamente grandes.Used once on gentle cycle; the zipper broke and bag ripped so it’s unusable and poor quality.Son mis segundas bolsas de lavandería y creo que seguiré comprando.
