The two brass valves are solid brass, well built, with smooth-action ball joints, brightly color-coded and easy to solder to 1/2" copper tubing. The box is flimsy; I found that the side supports were inadequate for sturdy placement in the wall cavity between two studs. I had to build a wood box around the plastic box so that the faucets would not move during normal use (which was difficult, since I was working in the wall cavity). The close placement of the cold faucet to the right-side drain (~1/2") made fitting the drain pipe and the plumbing difficult. I caulked the drain pipe flange to ensure water would not get inside the wall. Once reinforced and installed, the one-piece box was water-tight. A lip on the front ensured small drips from the washer hoses flowed into the drain. It looks nice when installed, but installing it was an issue. Plastic it a little on the thing side. I put this in while redoing some drywall work in my laundry room to replace the ancient valves that were there. It does have a threaded end, but it didn't seem to fit any of the fittings I had. Trying to get the job done, I ended up sweating it on while in the wall, but ended up melting the box a bit. It's nothing you can see from the outside, but a mess on the inside. But overall, it's not that bad.I was hoping that the valves came apart and were replaceable after installation without tearing into the sheetrock. I installed other valve bulk head fittings I got from a plumber.I don't believe they are. How ever I used in wall mount and it installed easily and I am happy with that.Just what I needed to tidy up my laundry room and make it easy to turn the water off/on. Regular valves wear out and leak too much, these are easy to switch and being ball valves they don't leak a drop.A complete kit. I used a wood chisel to knock out the sewer cap as the screwdriver method wasn't doing it.Just what I was looking for. Good quality, Nice 1/4 turn valves, to replace 40 year old leaking valves. Could not find anything like these in any of the big box stores or local hardware stores.Installed with ease. This uses PVC/CPVC connections which is what I wanted. I liked that the drain can be connected to multiple places and the box seemed sturdy. The fittings below the box were plastic and not brass as you see in the picture, I had to run to Home Depot and purchase another one in order to finish the job and take a loss on this one since we tried to modify it out of desperation. Didn't work, I feel this ad is deceitful and false advertising for a product that it is not.I have one of these installed on the washing machine and wanted another for a steam shower unit. This was the perfect tidy box I needed.Excellent quality
