It does collect the lint but not my shoulder length hair and they come apart sometimes in the washer I also thought the picture showed you get 4 but my package only had 2.As I stated I only received 2. The upgraded product seems better than the other ones I've used, a bit sturdier. But still only two.Works like I wanted it too but didn't stay stuck once the cat started picking at it...hello duct tape my old friend! I think it might have been okay otherwise but it should still be stronger adhesive, just in case.Has been on my back door for approx 2 months now. We open it constantly to let the dogs out and have had no issues with the adhesion what so ever. I'm so happy to find such a great product on the first try. The cold air use to just barrel under our door and even show would literally come into the house in a small pile on the floor at the base. That hasn't happened and it's been so warm I've even turned the heat down in the kitchen which the back door is in.... I deff recommend!!
